As one of Scotland’s oldest glazing contractors, McLeod Glaziers is a name synonymous with Perth and has been serving the local community for over one hundred years. Established in 1836, the company is family owned and run from its Head Office in the Inveralmond Industrial Estate.

Involved in all aspects of glazing, the firm is the region’s foremost contractor in its field.

McLeod’s has a proud history; focusing on high levels of customer care, quality of products and the same strong work ethic that was established in 1836 which is still carried on in the business today, and indeed is part of the fabric of the firm.

With a state-of-the-art glazing plant at the Head Office, McLeod’s stocks an extensive selection of glass which can be cut, polished and drilled for any application. The team is ready to handle all types of enquiries – from a single pane of glass to a complete property window replacement.

The pride in the heritage of the firm is reflected in the company’s drive to evolve, be innovative, develop new products and services and compete in new areas; but at the same time holding true to the company values that have seen McLeods through the last 183 years.

The company took a significant step forward to confirm its position as one of the premier glazing and home improvement firms in Scotland by opening a purpose-built showroom and manufacturing unit in the Inveralmond Industrial Estate next to its Head Office. Chief Executive Officer, Derek Petterson, wanted to give customers an even higher level of service by having a custom-made showroom displaying all of the company’s goods and products as they would be in the customers’ own home.

McLeod’s is fiercely proud that it is one of the few firms left based in the Perth area which is family owned and run. Initially owned by James Petterson and now led by his son Derek in the role of Chief Executive, the business now has the next generation in its ranks with James’ grandson, Gavin, in the position of General Manager.

The family is driven by the regard in which the company is held in the local area and throughout Scotland, and they look forward to taking McLeod Glaziers to its bi-centennial celebration in 2036!

The family and staff at McLeod’s always extend a warm welcome to customers – past, present and future – to the Inveralmond showroom where they can promise an excellent level of service and a vast selection of new and innovative products and services. A private car park directly outside the office and showroom provides ease of access to all visitors.
